Waendel Walk 12-14th May 2023
This month Wellingborough is hosting a walk open to all abilities, from 5k to 42k from Friday 12th May through to Sunday 14th May. This Walk, entitled the 'Waendel Walk', has been held for 42 years and attracts walkers from all over the world, as part of the International Walking Association.

Government's New Emergency Alerts Scheme
The UK government's new Emergency Alerts system is now live.
The system will enable people to be contacted via their mobile phone when lives are in danger. On Sunday 23 April 2023 at 3pm, there will be a national test of the Emergency Alerts service.
It will be used to warn you in the event of emergencies, such as severe flooding.

Kelly Communications Limited have requested a closure of the above road on behalf of BT. The closure is to safely undertake works in diverting a service and is expected to take place on the 1st September for one day at off peak times.
