Road Closure between Wilby and Mears Ashby

Please be aware of emergency road closure by KierWSP for Wilby Road, Mears Ashby and Mears Ashby Road, Wilby. The road will be closed for four days from 24th May 2022 for category 1 repairs.

Notice of Road Closure - Doddington Road, Wilby

Western Power are intending on carrying out works on the above location. To undertake the works it will require that the road is closed for up to three days from the 16th May 2022 and to reduce the impact and duration have combined three sets of work at the same time to avoid needing to come back at a later date. They will be tree trimming, replacing a damaged pole and relocation another pole.

How Wilby Plans to Celebrate HM Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend

We hope you will be able to join in the fun.

Wilby Playing Field Trust will be running a fete on Sunday 5th June from 1 - 5pm at the playing field to celebtrate the Platimun Jubilee of HM Queen. There will be a number of stalls, games for the children, refreshments including alcohol. We are working with the preschool, and with The Horseshoe Public House.
