Thanks to supplemental funding in the form of grants from Wellingborough Council and the Fire and Police Commissioner's Safer Communities Fund, Wilby Parish Council is pleased to confirm the village now has its new fixed speed sign in place alerting speeding vehicles as they enter the village on the A4500 from Earls Barton to SLOW DOWN.

Fatal Accident - Witness Appeal

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision on the A509.

At about 2.50pm on Saturday, September 7, a blue BMW 330D, a grey Ford Focus and a red Ducati Multistrada motorcycle were in collision on the A509 between Wellingborough and Harrowden.

As a result of the crash, the rider of the motorcycle, a 34-year-old man, died at the scene.
