What do I do if I get a counterfeit banknote?
Counterfeit banknotes are rare and also worthless.
We cannot reimburse you for counterfeit banknotes. If you suspect that you have a counterfeit banknote, please take it to your nearest police station. 1st Conviction for Operation Snap, Northants
A motorist who was caught on a cycle-cam overtaking a cyclist in excess of 90mph has become the first person to be convicted at court as part of Northamptonshire Police's Operation Snap.
Denzel Masawi of Sunningdale Drive in Rushden, was convicted at Wellingborough Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday, December 16) after pleading not guilty to driving in excess of a 30mph speed limit.

Consent
Police are relaunching the #NoConsentNoSex campaign, timed to coincide with the festive party season.
The two-week digital media campaign, which is supported by Serenity, Northamptonshire Rape Crisis and Voice, aims to raise awareness of sexual crime and in particular highlight the issue of consent. It delivers the stark message that sex without consent is rape or sexual assault.

Earls Barton Murder Investigation
Detectives investigating the murder of a 63-year-old woman in Earls Barton have today named her.
Marion Price, of Earls Barton was found in her car in a private residential car park in Elderton Way in the village, shortly after 8pm on Sunday, December 15. A post-mortem examination carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary yesterday (Monday, December 16) found she died as a result of a shotgun wound.... Read More »
