Wilby PC chairman attends King's Coronation Garden Party
It was with amazement that I received an invitation to this lovely occasion held at such an important time in King Charles' reign.

Waendel Walk 12-14th May 2023
This month Wellingborough is hosting a walk open to all abilities, from 5k to 42k from Friday 12th May through to Sunday 14th May. This Walk, entitled the 'Waendel Walk', has been held for 42 years and attracts walkers from all over the world, as part of the International Walking Association.

National Emergency Alert TEST
There will be a national test of the UK's new Emergency Alerts system on Sunday April 23rd at 15:00.
The test alert will be sent to most mobile phones across the UK. Devices will make a distinct, siren-like sound for up to 10 seconds, including on phones switched to silent mode. Government's New Emergency Alerts Scheme
The UK government's new Emergency Alerts system is now live.
The system will enable people to be contacted via their mobile phone when lives are in danger. On Sunday 23 April 2023 at 3pm, there will be a national test of the Emergency Alerts service.
It will be used to warn you in the event of emergencies, such as severe flooding.

This message is from Northants Police to encourage people to please report crime, theft from motor vehicle, criminal damage to your property, theft of tools, anti-social behaviour etc...
Many people do not report these things to us but they need this data in order to organise their patrol strategies.
