Your Invitation to WWI Commemoration Event
To All Parishes in Northamptonshire:
The Northamptonshire County Royal British Legion is organising a "Thank You" event on Saturday 1 September in Becketts Park in Northampton to say thank you to those who served in World War One, their families and descendants.
A copy of the poster for the event is attached.
An invitation is extended to your council from Cllr Russ Barrie (Chairman Of Northamptonshire RBL and member of Brackley Town Council) and Ian Byrnes, Volunteer County Secretary for RBL. Council Chairman and Town Mayors are welcome to attend the event wearing their chains or badges of office.
