Wilby Playing Fields Trust is pleased to welcome new outdoor gym equipment for adults which has been fitted over the last 2 days.

We have been very lucky in securing funding to improve the park's facilities and to be able to provide something for adults. The equipment will be fenced off to deter children.

We will be holding a launch in September to demonstrate the equipment and encourage you to use the new equipment to get fit and improve you health. Details of this will follow.

On a less positive note we have had some issues with anti social behaviour and have reluctantly made the decision to keep the lower barrier locked for a short period. We hope this will discourage such behaviour in the future. We would ask that you keep an eye out and phone the police if you notice anything suspicious. We inspect the park daily but cannot be around all the time: users of the park are extra eyes and ears for us. We thank you for being vigilant.
