Police Appeal for Further Information Following Further Incidents of Illegal Sheep Butchery

Northamptonshire Police is urging rural communities to look out for and report any suspicious activity following four incidents this week where livestock have been killed and professionally butchered in their field.

Drivers Targeted With Fake Fines

Action Fraud have received an increase in reports and intelligence where elderly victims are being targeted by individuals purporting to be police officers or traffic wardens. The victims are being approached whilst parked in a car park and are told by the suspect that they have parked illegally or broken a speed limit and a photo has been taken of their car for 'evidence'.

Two More Charged with Little Harrowden Murder

Two teenage boys have been charged with murder over the death of a man in Little Harrowden.

Tristan Patel, 18, of Newcomen Road, Wellingborough, and a 15-year-old boy also from Wellingborough, who cannot be named because of his age, are charged in connection with the murder of Stevie Pentelow, aged 44, who died of a stab wound following an incident in Hardwick Road on Friday, June 21.

Police Crackdown on Speeding Motorists

Twenty-seven drivers were stopped by Northamptonshire Police in one afternoon after being caught speeding as part of the Force's on-going campaign to improve road safety across the county.

Murder Investigation Launched Following Stabbing of Man in Little Harrowden

Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Little Harrowden, yesterday night, Friday, June 21.
