British Transport Police Non-Emergency Number

Travelling on our railway network this week here's a little number to jot down in the back of your diary or on the notes section of your phone it's important and you may need to text it at some point if your on the train.

61016 is to report non-emergency incidents to the British transport police, similar to the ones you would report to the 101 phone number provided by Northants Police.

Force Control Room 999 and 101 Service

More than 700,000 calls are made to the 999 and 101 number each year.

The force control room (FCR) triages these calls and ensure the appropriate action is taken for each call.

Scrap Fly-Tipping

A campaign has been launched by Wellingborough Council and its partners, Wellingborough Norse, to clean up the town's worst areas for fly-tipping and litter.

Force Launches Major New Recruitment Drive

An ambition to recruit more than 200 police officers by 2021 has started with a major new recruitment campaign.
