Scrap Fly-Tipping

A campaign has been launched by Wellingborough Council and its partners, Wellingborough Norse, to clean up the town's worst areas for fly-tipping and litter.

Colleagues from Wellingborough Norse have been working with community groups to help improve the Victoria Ward area and clear up the vast amounts of litter and rubbish which have been discarded on the streets, and in car parks and alleyways.

Force Launches Major New Recruitment Drive

An ambition to recruit more than 200 police officers by 2021 has started with a major new recruitment campaign.

Your Internet Is Being Cut Off

Two members report receiving calls to be advised of the information given as the heading of this message.

Both calls came from telephones with 01536 area codes although one purported to be from Ofcom and one from BT.

It was not possible to connect to one of the numbers and the other was permanently engaged presumably because some of their calls were being answered.

Action Fraud has received 63 reports about a scam in which fraudsters target people with offers of "low cost" loans or "free" government grants. Message to all Farmers and Small Holders

Following a number of sheep being illegally slaughtered and a recent theft of a large number of sheep, we believe those that are committing the crimes may be putting markers on the perimeter fences and gates of sites that they plan to target.

Wilby Wins Safer Roads Community Fund Award

Wilby Wins Safer Roads Community Fund Award

Wilby Parish Council is pleased to announce it has been granted £1000 from the Northamptonshire Safer Roads Community Fund.
